Easter Weekend!

This last week we went up to Idaho to visit my family over spring break and for Easter. Koby took Lizzie and I to meet my sister and her husband in Pocatello on Wednesday night last week so that I could go up for a couple of extra days and scrapbook with my mom and sisters. We scrapbooked all day on Thursday and Friday. I finally got started on a scrapbook for Lizzie. Yeah! Then on Friday night Koby came up. On Saturday we had a fun Easter egg hunt at my sister Lindsay's house. We had one for the little kids and then the older kids. It was fun for all of us adults to put together the eggs and hide them. After the egg hunt we had a picnic in the yard at Lindsays. That night Koby also took me out to dinner and to a movie for my birthday and we left Lizzie with Koby's brother Zack and his wife Chalee. Thanks guys for watching her so that we could go out. It has been awhile since Koby and I have gone and done something with just the two of us. On Sunday morning we went to church and then had a nice Easter dinner at my sister Tiffany's home later that afternoon. That pretty much sums up our Easter weekend. We hope you had a great Easter, too. Enjoy the pictures! Here is a picture of Lizzie waiting in the house with all the other kids while we were out hiding the eggs. All the cousins ready to go find their eggs. The sun was a little bright in their eyes, but we were just glad to know that it was shining. Koby helping Lizzie find some eggs and get them into her bucket. Lizzie putting her eggs into her basket. Koby wanted her to do as much as she could so she could get the hang of what egg hunting was all about. Lizzie checking out all of her eggs. After the Easter egg hunt at Lindsay's house. Lizzie in the swing in Lindsay's yard. She really enjoyed the nice weather on this day. The Easter Bunny found Lizzie on Easter morning. She got a new dress and a fun book and a whole basket of eggs. Of course they didn't have any candy because she is too small for all of that, but she sure liked to play with all the plastic eggs. I am amazed at how much Lizzie likes books. Here she is with her new book from the Easter bunny. Her hair was pretty crazy on this morning when she woke up.

Lizzie in her new Easter dress all ready to go to church. It is still a little big on her. I guess she will have to grow into it in the next couple of months. She looked so cute in all her pink!

We had fun with you guys this weekend. THanks for always letting my family hold Lizzie...they can't get enough of her! You should start charging each person to hold her...you would have her college tuition paid for! Haha! She looked really cute in her new Easter dress.

How blessed you are for having such a sweet little daughter. Her little eyes just sparkle with LOVE for her parents.
