Christmas was so fun this year with Lizzie. She really enjoyed Christmas morning getting into her stocking and opening presents. We were able to spend a couple of days up at my parent's home over the holidays. On Christmas Eve we got together with my brother Trever and his family and then my parents. We had dinner and played games and then got ready for Santa to come visit. That is always fun! I love having a little one at Christmas. On Christmas morning Lizzie was up around 8:00 so not too early and out she came to see what Santa had left her. He had left her a Little People dollhouse that made all kinds of fun noises when you ring the doorbell, run the washer, flush the toilet, and call on the phone. We enjoyed a wonderful Christmas breakfast with my parents with just about anything you would want....french toast, oranges, sausage, bacon, eggs, hashbrowns, you name it we probably had it. Then it was into the living room to sit around the tree and open gifts. This is always fun. We have always made Christmas day last as long as we can by each opening one gift at a time. I think we all got pretty spoiled when it comes to Christmas. Lizzie loved to tear the paper off and she would get so excited to see what it was. As you can see by the pictures I don't think she hardly ever looked up for the camera. She was more interested in all the fun toys to play with. Later Christmas day more of my family joined us and we enjoyed spending the day together eating and playing and just being together enjoying the season.
