I just came across these pictures and wanted to share a fun activity you can do at home with your little ones (of course you may have to wait until next Spring). Earlier this summer Lizzie and I decided it would be fun to make a bird feeder out of pine cones that were laying around the yard from the neighbors tree. It was so easy and a lot of fun. She really enjoyed this activity.
