Last weekend my sister Lindsay and her husband and two little girls came down on a little family vacation. They stayed with us on Thursday night and then went on to Salt Lake to do some other fun things. We drove down and met up with them on Saturday to go to Hogle Zoo. It was lots of fun. Lizzie loved being with her cousins and seeing all the animals. We packed a lunch and took it in with us. Here is Lizzie with cousin Camri eating their sandwiches.
They also played in the zoo park where they had fun activities for the kids. Lindsay got to even go down the snake slide with them on this one. They were not sure about doing it by themselves. 
Peek-a-boo... Here they are in the turtle shell.
and the egg shell...Oh what fun!
And here is the crew (minus me because I was taking the picture.) Don't we look like we are having fun. We looked like a stroller caravan.
It was fun to see the animals. There were not as many this time as I remember before. Many exhibits had been moved to other zoos for the winter and had not yet returned. We did get a few good pictures of the animals that were active that day. The baby elephant was really cute.
The monkeys were having a good time swinging on the ropes.
except for this monkey.....he just sat up on top of the pole.
Then of course the giraffes were enjoying the sunshine
and so was this happy family at the zoo.
Thanks Rob and Linds. It was so fun seeing your family and spending time at the zoo.
