Some fun things we did this last summer. We made moonsand for the first time and boy was that fun. Lizzie had some neighbor friends come over to play. We put it in the water table and they played for hours building and playing in it.
We also participated in our summer reading program. On the last day they had a safety fair. Lizzie loved climbing into the firetruck. She thought she was pretty big stuff.
We went to the parade and did some fireworks with Christopher and his family and had a cookout at their place on the 24th of July. The pictures are not very good. But the kids had fun doing sparklers.
We took a trip up home to see family. Lizzie had so much fun with all her cousins. We went to the pioneer days parade and rodeo that night.
While we were home visiting family we also took a trip to the mountains huckleberrying. It's been a long time since I had been. Here are some of the little kiddos ready to go get some huckle berries. This is something we always did growing up. We even took the old suburban to make our trip to the mountains. Glad that old thing could get us there. It was some fun memories.

We picked quite a few and brought them home and put some in the freezer for later and made some huckleberry shakes.
They were MMM good!
