This is one excited girl who loves birthdays and parties. She couldn't wait to open her presents from us. She had a little party last week with some of her cousins and the parties just keep happening for her. I guess you can never get enough birthday fun right!
Waiting....waiting...
It's a soccer ball. The one she would always play with at the Old Navy store anytime we were there. This was a huge suprise to her.
After we opened some presents we asked her what she would like to do for her birthday and she wanted to go bowling. So the 3 of us went bowling as a family. That was entertaining!!!
Some of these pictures are not the greatest quality. But they were priceless so I had to share!
On the weekend we had a princess party with some of her friends. And we
had a special guest princess show up to the party. The girls thought
that was great. We had to get each of their pictures with princess
Amanda. And she read stories to them and we decorated crowns with
jewels. Then we played games and had cake and ice-cream. What a full day
of activities! These princesses loved it all!
And I learned a lesson
about making a princess cake. LET SOMEONE ELSE DO IT! HA HA. I should
have doubled the cake to make the dress big enough so the barbie would
actually fit into it. Because the barbie didn't want to fit I had to improvise
and add a bowl under the cake and try to ice the bowl and then throw flowers over
it so it looked half way decent. But it worked and was finished 5 min.
before the little princesses showed up. The things we sometimes do as
parents just because my daughter wanted a princess cake! Oh well the
memories are worth it in the long run. And she will only be 5 once!
All our little princess guests....Maddie, Cerrah, Oaklee, Haylee, Cerice, and Mia.
Happy Birthday Lizzie!
