We spent the Christmas holiday up in Grace with Koby's parents this year. When Koby got off work on the Friday before Christmas we went up to their home and Koby's brother Hal and his family also came for that night. Lori had fixed chili and bread for when we all got there. Her and Grandpa were so excited for some of the kids to be home for Christmas.
That night we visited and sat around the Christmas tree. Lori had us and the grand kids open presents because Hal would be leaving the next day to go home. The kids were so excited. It is fun to have several times when you meet with family and get to open gifts. I guess it makes the holiday seem like it keeps on going. London and Lizzie loved dancing and showing off. And yes Lizzie had to bring her tutu and wear it.
Grandma Bennett gave Lizzie some cute dancing frog jammies and fuzzy socks.
On Saturday morning we had a nice breakfast and then Grandma had an activity for the kids. They made sugar cone Christmas trees. I think Grandma had just as much fun as the kids. They loved decorating them with smarties and red hots.
Grandma then gave them another cone with real ice cream in it. Yes they were all on a pretty good sugar high at this point... some of them were adding icing to the ice-cream like good old Quin there.
